Brendan Belk

Brendan is the Government Stakeholder Relationship Manager at the National Centre for Computing Education. In this role, he champions the importance of computing education, engaging with both central and local government to raise awareness and drive initiatives. Previously, Brendan served as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Department for Education, where he developed and implemented policies relating to teacher training. His career in education began as an Assistant Head of Maths in Greater Manchester, where he also completed his master’s degree with research on gender bias and its impact on the performance of female students in mathematics.
