David Stewart
Head of Group Data Science,
Legal & General
David has over 15 years of experience in Data Analytics and Data Science, spanning Financial Services, Consulting and Telecommunications. He is currently Head of Group Data Science at Legal & General, leading teams focussed on Generative AI, Machine Learning, Descriptive Analytics and Reporting. David has an MSc in Management Science and Operational Research from the University of Warwick, providing him with a strong foundation in analytics and modelling.
David is known for his collaborative style and ability to bridge the gap between technical and commercial teams. In his current role he leads the company AI Accelerator, collaborating across the group and co-ordinating the group-wide response to the opportunity of Generative AI.
He is passionate about the power of data to deliver better customer outcomes, innovative solutions and commercial benefits
