Mark Orchard is the Commercial Director of Econocom Ltd, the UK division of the Econocom Group, Europe’s largest independent technology finance company. Mark oversees large ticket business-to-business structured funding solutions for all forms of technology investment, including fixed term subscription, as a service (aaS) rental, and the funding of IT intellectual property and managed service contracts. In addition, as a member of the UK & Ireland Strategy Board, Mark is responsible for team management, strategic planning, and business vertical development. Earlier roles included managing the large ticket leasing team at ECS UK PLC and serving as a commercial liaison with Société Générale investment bank and, prior to that, Sales Director at Key Finance Ltd, and Asset Finance Manager at Deutsche Bank. Throughout his career, Mark has demonstrated expertise in structuring financial solutions in line with customers’ requirements. Established in 1974, the Econocom Group has over 9000 employees across 19 countries and revenue in 2023 of over €2.7 billion.
