Nigel Turner is a highly experienced data management practitioner, consultant, trainer, conference chair and speaker who has worked in Information Management and related areas for over 30 years. This experience has embraced Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management and Business Intelligence. He co-founded Global Data Strategy with Donna Burbank in 2015. He has since worked with clients in the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. Before becoming Global Data Strategy’s Principal Consultant EMEA, Nigel also worked as a Principal Consultant at FromHereOn (Enterprise Architects) and IPL / Civica, where he led Data Governance and Data Quality engagements with customers such as First Great Western and British Gas in the UK. Nigel is a well-known thought leader in Information Management and has run many tutorials and presented at numerous international conferences. He has also written several white papers and is a frequent blogger on Information Management topics. He is very active in professional Data Management organisations and is a longstanding committee member of the Data Management Association (DAMA) UK.
