Steve Green is the Chief Data Officer for SMBC across EMEA and leads the EMEA Data Office. He joined SMBC in October 2021, following 7 years at the FCA where (from 2017) Steve was the Chief Data Officer in the FCA’s Innovation Division where he led their Data Strategy across all sectors, including all data collections and their broader drive to becoming a data-led regulator. Before the FCA Steve worked across a variety of IT and data leadership roles across several industries.
